Zika virus: travel advice for pregnant women
Public Health England (PHE) has advised pregnant women to delay travel to countries with the ongoing Zika virus, while the World Health Organisation (WHO) has declared the situation a global emergency.
Which countries should be avoided?
The Centers for Disease Prevention has recommended the following areas in particular should be avoided:
- Central America
- Puerto Rico
- South America
